Founded in February 2000, The Adelson Clinic is a certified, private, clinic dedicated to treating the disease of opiate (heroin and painkillers) addiction by providing methadone (maintenance) treatment and counseling services. The clinic staff is treating adults and teenagers, and is the only local clinic to use methadone to treat teen dependency on painkillers such as OxyContin and Lortab, or heroin.

Wanting to help the community where sheresides, she founded, sponsors and manages two majordrug abuse treatment and research centers, one in Las Vegas andone in Tel Aviv, Israel. Dr. Adelson has devoted her career tomedicine, specializing in internal medicine, emergency medicineand chemical dependency and drug addiction.
With the rapidly rising use of painkillers by teens, Dr. Adelson’s desire is to be able to help teens re-establish themselves in school and lead normal lives. Dr. Adelson successfully developed a methadone program for treating teen addiction to opiates.
