Samaritan Daytop - Bern

The nation's largest therapeutic community organization, offering short (30-60 day) and long term residential rehab for teens and adults. Medicaid and insurance are accepted, but no one will be denied services for an inability to pay. Residential rehabs are located in upstate New York.

Although there is a short duration rehab, most Daytop residents proceed through the three phase therapeutic community recovery program. Clients receive therapy and peer support, job readiness training and education, and learn the life skills they'll need for success.
