Nikhol Jackson

Mrs. Jackson has an immense passion for children and families. Upon graduating from high school she attended the University of Georgia and in 2001 graduated with a Bachelors degree in psychology. She obtained her Masters degree in counseling psychology from the University of West Alabama in 2007, and later completed an add on certificate in School Guidance Counseling through the University of West Alabama as well. In 2008 Mrs. Jackson completed this program and today is a certified marriage and family therapist. Mrs. Jackson is currently pursing a Doctoral degree in counseling psychology from Argosy University in Sarasota Florida.

In 2009 Mrs. Jackson founded Just A Journey Counseling & Psychological Services, LLC. She believes that people are motivated by their social interests and by finding goals that give life meaning. Her overall view of therapy is that the therapistsâ role is to provide encouragement and assist clients in changing their thought process or ways of thinking and behavior to achieve a specific goal or outcome.

Mrs. Jackson is also the co-founder of Jackson & Jackson Consulting, LLC an agency Dedicated to Uplifting, Educating and Empowering the community one family at a time through financial coaching, financial literacy / awareness seminars, family development and relationship enrichment programs and life coaching.
