Question
I have Paget's disease of bone and I am addicted to heroin. I am thinking about going on methadone.
I hear that methadone is not good for your bones but some people say that this is not true.
Is methadone harmful for your bones? Is it safe for me with my condition?
There are a lot of questions concerning methadone and the effect it has on bones. In the more reliable resources, this is not mentioned as a side effect. Your medical doctor would be in the best position to advise you.
