California Teen Rehab Programs That Accept Kaiser Permanente

Newport Academy provides residential and outpatient mental health treatment for adolescents ages 7–18 at its Orange, California location. Founded in 2008, the program offers gender-responsive care with evidence-based therapies including CBT, DBT, ABFT, and EMDR, supported by an accredited academic curriculum. Newport Academy is Joint Commission-accredited and accepts Optum, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Kaiser Permanente, TRICARE, and private insurance.

Newport Academy's Orange campus provides residential treatment, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient care for adolescents aged 12 to 18 and for children aged 7 to 11, treating mental health conditions and co-occurring substance use. Teaching runs alongside treatment through an accredited academic curriculum, so a young person does not fall behind while admitted, and families are treated as part of the work rather than as visitors. Therapy draws on cognitive behavioral therapy, DBT and EMDR. Newport holds the Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval and publishes third-party outcomes research conducted with Vanderbilt University. Private insurance is accepted.
