Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all paid services provided by ChooseHelp, including directory listings, promotional visibility services, and subscription-based offerings.

1. Overview

ChooseHelp provides paid directory listings and promotional visibility services for organizations and providers. Because listing placement, editorial review, onboarding work, publication, and visibility allocation begin shortly after purchase, payments are generally non-refundable once a listing has been approved and published.

2. Initial Purchases

Refund requests for first-time listing purchases may be considered only if:

  • The listing has not yet been published; or
  • A material technical error caused duplicate billing or prevented delivery of the purchased service.

If approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method within a reasonable processing period.

3. Renewals & Subscriptions

All subscription renewals are final and non-refundable.

By purchasing a recurring listing subscription, you authorize ChooseHelp to automatically renew your listing at the applicable renewal rate unless cancelled before the renewal date.

Refunds will not be provided for:

  • Forgotten cancellations
  • Partial subscription periods
  • Lack of usage
  • Dissatisfaction with traffic, leads, inquiries, or business outcomes
  • Changes in business circumstances
  • Removal or suspension due to policy violations
  • Failure to update billing information

The only exceptions are where a verified technical billing error occurred or where refund rights are required by applicable law.

4. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription renewal at any time through your account settings or by contacting support before the next billing cycle.

Cancellation prevents future renewals only. Your existing listing and subscription benefits will remain active until the end of the current paid term.

No prorated refunds or credits are provided for unused time remaining in a billing period.

5. Original 48-Hour Cancellation (Superseded)

Previously, customers were offered a 48-hour cancellation window. This provision is now replaced by the current subscription-based cancellation policy above.

Any cancellation rights under applicable consumer protection law remain unaffected.

6. Billing Errors

If you believe you were charged incorrectly, you must contact ChooseHelp within 14 days of the charge date with relevant details.

Verified duplicate charges or technical billing mistakes will be corrected promptly.

7. Chargebacks

Initiating a chargeback without first contacting ChooseHelp to resolve a billing issue may result in suspension or removal of listings and associated services.

8. Online Treatment Programs (Legacy Clause)

If you miss treatment sessions without notifying a member of staff within 24 hours, we may reserve the right to revoke your treatment without any refund being returned.

9. Changes to This Policy

ChooseHelp may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time. Continued use of paid services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
