The WestCare Community Involvement Center provides medically monitored detoxification and rehab programs for alcohol and drugs. WestCare specializes in helping people traditionally considered difficult to treat, such as those who are indigent, have multiple disorders, or are involved with the criminal justice system. Case management is provided to ensure everyone has access to a full continuum of services based on his or her individual recovery needs.
The Community Involvement Center provides level I and level II outpatient services for men and women. These services are provided in gender-specific settings (separate men's and women's groups) to help provide education/treatment about drug and alcohol substance abuse. The program focuses on interrupting negative behavior patterns, teaching effective methods of coping and decision-making skills, and helping to provide a support network for adults, through the evidence-based MATRIX Model outpatient system. This location also offers a Level I outpatient group for Spanish-speaking clients.
The Community Involvement Center also provides Level I adult substance abuse and co-occurring outpatient services in Henderson. The rural location in Pahrump, Nevada provides Drug Court Services for NYE County in a three-phase system to adults. This site also provides level I outpatient services to age- and gender-specific group settings through the MATRIX Model outpatient system.
The Las Vegas Community Triage Center serves veterans and individuals in crisis.

One of WestCare's priorities, as we work to strengthen people and communities, is to reach out to and provide specialized services to veterans. We work together with community agencies that serve veterans to ensure that we are offering needed services and that we are providing the best care possible for the people who have given so much to our country. WestCare makes referrals to veteran-specific resources, such as the Veterans' Administration and U.S. Vets to ensure that every veteran we serve has a plan of care specific to his or her needs.
