Texas Detox Clinics That Accept TRICARE

Starlite Recovery Center has provided residential drug and alcohol treatment on its Center Point, Texas campus since 1957, in the Texas Hill Country. The program offers medical detox, residential care, intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization for adults and adolescents, with dedicated tracks for LGBTQ+ clients and for military veterans and first responders. Starlite accepts private insurance and military insurance (TRICARE); its insurance page states it does not take Medicare or Medicaid.

Cenikor's Irving campus offers withdrawal management, residential treatment, intensive outpatient and outpatient care for adults with substance use disorders, including those with co-occurring mental health conditions. Cenikor is a non-profit that has served Texas and New Mexico for nearly six decades, is accredited by CARF and LegitScript certified, and says its non-profit structure is what allows it to keep costs down. Medicaid is accepted, including most Texas and New Mexico plans, alongside Medicare, private and military insurance, state-funded places, and a sliding scale based on income.

New Hope Ranch is a residential addiction treatment center on Sparks Road in Manor, east of Austin, operated by Discovery Addiction Services, with medical detox and partial hospitalization on site. It treats adults with substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions, and is certified by CARF. Managed Medicaid is accepted — New Hope Ranch is in-network with Optum Medicaid and works with Blue Cross Blue Shield Medicaid — alongside private insurance, TRICARE and VA coverage, and self-pay.
