Plano Mental Health Centers

Center for Discovery's Plano location opened in 2015 in an estate-style home in the Willow Bend neighborhood of Plano, Texas, and provides residential eating disorder treatment for young people of all genders aged 9 to 17. The program treats anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, ARFID, orthorexia and other specified feeding or eating disorders, including cases with co-occurring mental health conditions, and the wider organization also runs intensive outpatient care at three to five hours a day, three to five days a week for adolescents and adults. Private insurance is accepted, including Aetna, Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Anthem, Optum, Humana, Kaiser Permanente, TRICARE and TriWest.

Carrus Behavioral Health is the children's and adolescent arm of Carrus Health, operating in Texas and Oklahoma since 2008. Partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs serve ages 8 to 17, and the inpatient hospital takes children from age 5, so a family does not change organization when the level of care changes. Accredited by The Joint Commission and licensed by Texas Health and Human Services.
