Outpatient Rehab·Opioid Treatment Program

THRIVE Wellness and Recovery is a not-for-profit organization established in 2024 that provides mental health and addiction services for children, adolescents, adults and families across Jefferson, Lewis and St. Lawrence Counties in northern New York, with its Watertown site at 611 West Main Street. It is certified by NYS OASAS and the NYS Office of Mental Health, holds CARF International accreditation for its opioid treatment program, and offers same-day or appointment-based outpatient care alongside short- and long-term residential care and supportive housing. Medicaid and Medicare are accepted, and a sliding fee scale based on family size and income is available for people without insurance.

THRIVE Wellness and Recovery is a not-for-profit formed in 2024 by the merger of Credo Community Center for the Treatment of Addictions — which had been treating addiction in northern New York for fifty years — and Transitional Living Services of Northern New York, which provided residential psychiatric rehabilitation. Its Lowville site runs an intensive outpatient program for substance use alongside mental health services, part of an organization that treats children, adolescents, adults, families and caregivers. THRIVE is certified by the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports and by the Office of Mental Health, and its opioid treatment program is accredited by CARF. Payment can be made through Medicaid, Medicare, private or military insurance, or state funding.

Patricia Pond Hinckley, now operating as THRIVE Wellness, provides residential substance use treatment in Watertown, New York. THRIVE was formed in July 2024 from the merger of Credo Community Center for the Treatment of Addictions and Transitional Living Services of Northern New York. THRIVE provides person-centered community-based services focused on wellness and recovery. The organization accepts Medicaid, Medicare, private health insurance, and state-financed coverage.
