Future Men Reviews

I wish there were more facilities like this around the country. Unfortunately, far too many troubled teens get funneled into juvenile justice facilities where kids are exposed to even worse influences. Future Men works with you and your teen to create a custom plan to address socialization and behavior issues they may be facing, from all sides of their environment and awareness, to broaden their horizons and build up their character. With Future Men, you know your son will learn how significant the impact of making better choices has on themselves, their family and community. Future Men does an extraordinary job of teaching empathy, boundaries, standards, the value of hard work, and leadership. Future Men gave my son the tools and perspective to turn his life around. Now five years later, he is a decorated soldier in Military Intelligence with a brighter future and opportunities than we could have imagined. We are more proud of him than we have words to express, but more importantly, he takes pride in himself and knows he has the tools to create a family of his own he can be proud of and have a positive impact on for generations to come.

Before Future Men, we were at a complete loss—our teenage son was making destructive choices, growing more distant, and spiraling in ways we couldn’t fix on our own. We had tried therapy, strict rules, and emotional appeals, but nothing brought lasting change. Future Men was our last hope, and it turned out to be the turning point we prayed for.

From the moment he arrived, we saw a transformation begin—not just in his behavior, but in his heart. Through the structure, biblical mentorship, and Christ-centered teaching, our son learned accountability, humility, and self-respect. He began to care about his future again. He started making choices that honored God and restored relationships. We could see the light return to his eyes.

Today, he’s sober, responsible, and deeply grounded in his faith. He’s respectful, hardworking, and is even mentoring others who face similar struggles. This program didn’t just change his path—it renewed our entire family dynamic. We are so grateful to the staff at Future Men who walked alongside him with grace and truth. We confidently recommend this school to any parent who feels hopeless. There is hope, and it starts here.

Future Men provided our son with structure, opportunity and purpose. We tried both public and private schools before we tried Future Men. Turns out temptation is everywhere and destructive behavior is passively encouraged. In our experience, as long as a student is not disruptive in the classroom, teachers and administrators turn a blind eye. Our son was deteriorating academically, socially and morally before us. In Future Men, we found a program that genuinely cares about creating a better vision for your son, because they love God. It is not an indoctrination camp. My son has not given his heart to Jesus. At his graduation, I felt the agape love for my son and I saw clearly the mutual respect. We went from a rebellious child who was stuck in escalating pleasure-seeking to a healthy, strong, young man who has a solid plan for his future. I know that all the team at Future Men have planted seeds in him and I continue to pray that my son will one day be found In Him.

Future Men was a life reboot for our son, and gave our family a “second chance” to welcome him home after his successful completion of the program. My husband and I especially valued the biblically-centered masculine oversight and emphasis of the FM program. Our son benefited immeasurably from FM’s “structured freedoms” around which the entire program seemed to be built. This structure/freedom dynamic gave our boy the opportunity to make stupid choices, take ownership of them, and learn from them within the protection of FM’s Staff’s loving oversight and enforcement of its rules. It really worked! Our son enjoyed having a “brotherhood” of peers with whom he enjoyed many outdoor activities. Life, meaning heart-and-behavior, change truly occurred for our son in this program! The single critique we have of Future Men is that our family struggled to reintegrate our son upon his return home. My husband and I believe this was because many systemic family issues were not addressed/worked through as a whole family unit while our son was away. He would have greatly benefited from an intentional focus on learning how to work through the dynamics of challenging relationships in our home while he was at FM, but during his residency that was not part of the program. Regardless, Future Men receives a “Five Star” review from us due to its professionalism, Christian world view, consistency, and communicativeness. We have absolutely no regrets- only gratitude- in sending our son there!
