Crawford County Outpatient Rehabs

The Stepping Stones program at Meadville Medical Center provides inpatient drug and alcohol detoxification and rehabilitation plus outpatient counseling for adults age 18 and older. The program is short-term, with rehabilitation ordinarily up to 28 days, and offers medically-managed withdrawal and medication-assisted treatment (MAT); all admissions are screened through an emergency department. It accepts Medicaid, Medicare and private insurance.

Bethesda Lutheran Services has provided mental and behavioral health care for children, youth and families in northwestern Pennsylvania for over a century. Its Meadville campus offers residential treatment, a psychiatric residential treatment facility (PRTF), partial hospitalization and community- and school-based behavioral health services. The organization accepts Medicaid, Medicare and private insurance.

Crawford County Drug and Alcohol Executive Commission is the county's drug and alcohol authority, coordinating prevention, case management, assessment, treatment and recovery support — from outpatient and intensive outpatient care to inpatient, detox and halfway-house placement. It offers special tracks for adolescents, dually diagnosed, forensic and female clients, and a 24-hour crisis line. Fees are based on income, no one is denied for inability to pay, and services are funded by Crawford County and state and federal government.
