Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch provides residential treatment for children aged 5 to 17 who need psychiatric care, therapy and support to heal from trauma, and has been working with North Dakota families for more than 70 years. Its Bismarck campus pairs treatment with specialised accredited education for young people who need extra support at school, and the Ranch describes its approach as combining spirituality and science, with trauma-informed care delivered by licensed therapists, psychologists, nurses and educators. Programs and schools are licensed by the state of North Dakota and nationally accredited; Medicare and private insurance are accepted.
