Grace House of Memphis is a women-only, long-term residential and outpatient substance use treatment program serving women aged 18 and over in Memphis, Tennessee. Founded in 1976 by Pat Stokes, it treats alcohol and drug use together with co-occurring mental health conditions. Admission is available regardless of ability to pay, with state-financed assistance, a sliding fee scale, and payment assistance.

The agency began in Stamford in 1971 — Liberation House was its first site — and now runs services in Bridgeport, Greenwich, Norwalk, Stamford and Westport, working with adolescents, men, women and families. It says most of the people it serves are on Medicaid and that services are provided regardless of ability to pay: staff help clients obtain coverage through the Affordable Care Act, check eligibility for state and federal benefits, offer a self-pay sliding scale and, in limited circumstances, provide scholarship treatment. Scholarship beds may be available for people with opioid use disorder whose insurance will not cover inpatient care, and the organization has beds for women and children.

Unhooked Recovery is a family-owned residential behavioral health facility on South Power Road in Mesa, serving adult men and women in Arizona's East Valley. It runs its own detox unit alongside residential treatment, with an intensive outpatient program built on the Matrix Model — including its Early Recovery Skills component — and housing attached to the IOP, so clients can work while continuing treatment rather than choosing between the two. Family services run alongside the clinical program. Medicaid, Medicare, military insurance and self-pay are accepted.

Medication-assisted treatment here covers all three FDA-approved medications for opioid use disorder — methadone, buprenorphine and naltrexone — delivered with medical, nursing, psychiatric and counseling support, and the organization has been expanding methadone access through a new opioid treatment program. Intensive outpatient programs run for substance use, mental health and co-occurring conditions, with gender-specific groups available, and bilingual staff serve Spanish-speaking clients. The organization is CARF-accredited, licensed by the Connecticut Department of Public Health and funded in part by the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services. Center for Discovery Fairfield provides residential eating disorder treatment for women and non-binary adults aged 18 and over, and has done so since opening in 2015, taking clients from Connecticut, New York and New Jersey. Treatment follows the center's CARE-CFD model, which combines trauma-focused nutrition therapy, collaboration between the patient and the care team, attention to the whole body including the nervous system, and an explicitly weight-inclusive stance. Co-occurring conditions are treated alongside the eating disorder, and there is a dedicated pathway for veterans. The program is in-network with major insurers including Anthem BCBS, Aetna, Optum, Cigna and TRICARE East, and private and military insurance are accepted.
