Quincy Treatment Centers

Apalachee Center has served the Big Bend region of Florida since 1948, and its Quincy site provides residential and outpatient treatment for substance use, psychiatric and emotional crises. Programs run for adults and, separately, for children and adolescents, and the organization holds the Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval. Medicaid, Medicare and private insurance are accepted.

Sojourn Wellness is a residential drug and alcohol treatment center in Quincy, Florida, in the Big Bend region northwest of Tallahassee. Its inpatient building sits on five acres of woods and fields, with private rooms throughout — the operator's stated aim is a home-like setting rather than a clinical one. Medical detoxification is the entry point, delivered at ASAM level 3.7, followed by residential treatment combining individual and group therapy, family therapy and support groups, with medication-assisted treatment where withdrawal or cravings need it and dual-diagnosis care where a mental health condition sits underneath. Relapse-prevention education runs throughout. Admission goes through clinical pre-screening and an ASAM criteria review. Private and military insurance and state funding are accepted.
