Life Is Worth Living Because...: “Life is a gift. I appreciate the variety of learning opportunities each new day brings and the challenge to create in the real world what I see as possible in my dreams.”

My Story: “I was raised in a very religious home. My parents were divorced and remarried, so I understand the unique challenges a blended family presents. I've been a "self-help book addict" most of my life.

As an adult, I came to terms with contradictions in the religious beleifs I had been taught my entire life. The transformation out of my parent's church has been my largest paradigm shift to date. I faced a lot of fear as I "graduated" from my childhood religion. In 2000 I started a support group for Ex-Mormons in the Portland area. I have since met many amazing people and formed deep friendships.

These days I enjoy spending time with my three children and loving husband of 16 years. I volunteer as a choir director at my children's magnet school. My husband and I love creating, recording and performing music together in our free time.
