No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.
1 Corinthians 10:13
Getting over an addiction to drugs or alcohol is tough. It takes work, but more than that, it takes faith!
Trust in the Lord and you will overcome! God does not tempt us with more than we can bear. He may tempt us mightily, for in our suffering we draw closer to Him, but He will walk with us always; and He will always lead us from temptation, if only we have the humility to ask for His help.
You can get over addiction, that's the word of God. Believe this, and believe in His power to heal. You can’t do it alone, but you don’t have to!
Open your heart to Him. Pray to Him, and find His strength in your weakness. Listen to the word of God and rejoice, for He will lead you out of this. Have faith.
