Friends star Matthew Perry has announced that he will head enter into a rehab for a 30 day program as a preventative move as he continues in his recovery from alcohol and prescription pill addiction.

Sources say the actor has not relapsed, but is returning to rehab in the very near future.

In a statement, Perry wrote, "I'm making plans to go away for a month to focus on my sobriety and continue my life in recovery. Please enjoy making fun of me on the World Wide Web."

Perry has twice before spent time in drug and alcohol rehab facilities. In 1997 the actor attended a 30 day program at The Hazelden Foundation in Minnesota after becoming addicted to the pain killers he was prescribed following a jet ski accident. And in 2001, Perry checked into Promises rehab in Malibu for alcohol concerns.
