The Bromley Brook follows a demanding college preparatory curriculum with a strong emphasis on science, mathematics, technology, and expressive arts, where students set goals to identify their own unique gifts and talents and transform them into a specialty with the assistance of individualized instruction. Personalized mentoring complements the academic curriculum, emphasizing college and career preparation.
The faculty at Bromley Brook boarding school for girls does not take a "one size fits all" approach to education. AnIndividualized Learning Plan for all girls entering Bromley Brook is develop within six weeks of arrival at the school, based on her unique learning styles, strengths and challenges. For example, an auditory learning style may mean that a student absorbs knowledge best through lecture and discussion. Visual learners grasp material through reading and film, whereas a kinesthetic learner likes a "hands-on" approach in her classes. Some students will use a combination of learning styles.

Counseling
Individual Counseling
All girls are assigned to an individual counselor upon arrival. The counselor works with the girl and her family to set emotional and family goals during her stay at Bromley Brook boarding school. The counselor also arranges weekly phone calls home and maintains contact with educational consultants, if applicable.
Therapy Sessions
Girls meet weekly with their counselor for an individual therapy session, and, in addition, participate in one to two group therapy sessions, each week. The therapy groups are focused on self-awareness and positive change with emphasis on anxiety management, effective communication, problem-solving, family matters, relationships, and transitions.
Family Involvement
On-site, family sessions are strongly encouraged prior to a planned, local visitation. Periodic family meetings are important to review expectations and plans for a visitation, to process issues of concern, and to work toward the student's successful transition upon completion of the Bromley Brook program. On-campus family workshops, family counseling sessions, and carefully planned visitations result in enhanced parenting skills, improved family relationships, the establishment of clear and reasonable expectations, and a successful family integration.
Student Life
